My client needs an experienced Regulatory Affairs Manager to join the Quality & Technical team, based in Bracknell and working across all of their product range.
You will review and interpret current and proposed legislation and policy around the safety, labelling, advertising and sale of the clients food and non-food ranges, developing your own position, procedures and guidance to make sure the client effectively anticipates, plan for and delivers against those needs. You will need to work closely with the Quality & Technical team as well the wider commercial, marketing and retail teams, to make sure that your ideas and plans are understood and adopted.
Ideally, you will already have a degree or equivalent in food law or an appropriate alternative. Equally important will be your experience in interpreting and applying legislation in a food retailing or manufacturing environment. Ideally you will have a wide experience in different product categories of food and non food labelling, merchandising and marketing legislation, and you must be an effective communicator, able to influence across a variety of functions and at different levels of our business. You will also be experienced in working with enforcement authorities, trade organisations and Government, with a strong network across the food sector.
In return we will be offering a competitive salary of £55 - £65 K with additional benefits commensurate with this role.
