Looking to join a world leader within the Civil Engineering/Construction field and work on a number of landmark projects?

My client is an internationally recognised Civil Engineering/Construction who turns over in excess of £5 Billion per annum and is continuing to grow and develop all areas of their business.

In the role of Senior Buyer you will be responsible for the day to day procurement of both Sub Contract and Materials for what is seen as a key project. In the role of Buyer/Senior Buyer this position is a Hands On' role with the duties including

* Deliver an effective procurement solution to both the client and business
* Manage the supply of goods/services across the business unit
* Participate in strategic projects as required
* Deliver better value supply chain across all categories
* Work closely with Stakeholders/ Clients on all procurement activities

The successful applicant will be a commercially focused procurement professional with a working knowledge/background across the Civil Engineering/Contracting industries with a focus on Rail, Infrastructure and Construction. Ideally MCIPS qualified with a dynamic and forward thinking approach to procurement.

Requirements

* Civil Engineering/Rail background essential
* CIPS/ MCIPS Qualified
* Exposure to both Material and Subcontract procurement
* Strong stakeholder engagement skills
* Comfortable liaising with clients both external and internal
* Commercial approach to procurement
* FullUKDriving Licence
