Macildowie are searching for an accomplished Marketing Controller to create branded and own label Marketing and PR strategy aligned to business objectives in order to further this division within a growing FMCG business in Derbyshire. Your role will effectively implement strategy across all areas of the marketing mix and act as the voice of the consumer within the business. Reporting into the Managing Director the successful candidate will have over 10 years Brand and Own Label marketing experience as well as proven people management and leadership skills

Responsibilities include:
-Delivering the annual Marketing strategy through cross functional working and collaboration with the Managing Director
-Managing PR and communications for the Company in conjunction with external agencies
-Brand development and creative agency management
-Managing and developing the Marketing team (Marketing Manager and Category Manager) to be able to deliver the strategic plan
-Managing the Category Manager to provide accurate consumer data and market data insight
-Working closely with customers ensuring that our status and reputation as Category Captains is maintained and strengthened
-Ensuring expenditure budgets is maximised and targets are met
-Effectively representing the marketing function as part of the Operational Board
-Leading ad hoc business projects and initiatives
