As an experienced Agile Scrum Master with a background in Java projects delivery, you will be joining a team who's vision is to be the undisputed leader in digital relationship banking, recognised as the best in the world in the way digital technologies are used to service customers across the Internet and mobile platforms.
The programme is concerned with the entire digital presence of the retail operations of the bank. You will be working on a massive programme with a budget of several hundred million and over 1000 people in the development and testing stream alone. Agile practices have been Embedded in to the environment with great success so far. However, there is still a way to go and my client needs Scrum Masters to help take them to the next level.
What you need in order to qualify: Background in coding/software development in Java technology. Broad and detailed knowledge of Agile development practices - TDD/BDD, automated builds, continuous integration, code quality metrics, agile test frameworks etc. Significant exposure to web development technologies (HTML, JavaScript, JSP, content management, caching) Significant experience with off shore teams and creating and setting up successful Agile Scrum teams working remotely.
Significant exposure to platform-level development - services, APIs, large codebases. Proven technical and leadership capabilities Certified ScrumMaster status for several recent, successive and successful projects, and preferably Certified ScrumMaster Professional/Professional ScrumMaster Level II, or Certified ScrumMaster Coach.
Experience across the breadth of the traditional Software Delivery Lifecycle including traditional project management documentation. Experience and knowledge of complimentary methodologies, patterns and practices; know how to mix and match with success.
