Due to expansion and on our client's behalf, we are seeking an experienced System Engineer with proven 3rd line / 4th line support experience across IT Infrastructure and including proficiency in Microsoft Exchange, Windows Server, Active Directory. This is a Central London based position and would ideally suit a candidate already situated in the capital.

System Engineer Job Role / Technical Experience:

Provide Installation, support and administration for the following products and services but not limited to:

Windows Server 2000,2003,2008,2012
Microsoft Exchange 2003,2007,2010
EMC VNX, NetApp
HP Servers
Dell Servers
DFS
DHCP, DNS
VMware vSphere 4.1/5.0
Server Backup and recovery.
Monitoring of system performance.
Day to day support of the IT Infrastructure.

3+ years' experience supporting Microsoft Exchange 2003/2007/2010 - must have experience with migration of complex environments (Cross-Forest and multiple Domains) and the use tools sets such as NetiQ, Microsoft Migration tools etc.
3 + years' experience working with SAN Technologies (EMC / NetApp).
MS Lync - Must have experience of setting up a Global enterprise solution.
5 + years' with Active Directory - must have experience with migration of complex environments (Cross-Forest and multiple Domains) and the use tools sets such as NetiQ, Microsoft Migration tools etc.
Networking - layer 2 /3.
Threat management / McAfee AV / Encryption.
PKI.
3+ years' experience with VMware vSphere.
Clustering.
ISA.
Support and Maintain Back-ups using Back-up Exec, CommVault and other Back-up solutions.
3+ years' experience with Microsoft Windows 2003/2008 server administration
3+ years' experience with LAN, WAN, VPN, RAS, TCP/IP, DHCP and DNS
3+ years' experience with server hardware including blade servers and chassis (HP, Dell and IBM Servers).
Linux.
McAfee Antivirus.
Backup and restore of servers and mailboxes using CommVault and Backup Exec 2010.
IIS/Apache.
MS-SQL/Oracle Server.
ITIL.
Knowledge of PowerShell and ability to automate processes with scripts.

The salary on offer with this role for System Engineer is negotiable but likely to be in the range of £45-50,000.
