Sental Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced National Account Manager (retail) for our national client.
Main responsibilities
Sustainable and profitable growth in allocated UK National and Regional Accounts Develop, manage and maintain excellent relationships between the client and its retail partners.
Develop tailored creative business plans in accounts that stimulate demand, increase sales and enhance overall brand appeal for shoppers.
Key Accountabilities:
To achieve agreed sales targets for allocated National Accounts.
Management all aspects of profit and loss and hold accountability for both and to manage the annual trade investment budget in line with the operating plan.
Maintain spend within set budget parameters and in line with Sales and Marketing objectives.
Develop and maintain a contact strategy, delivering regular contact at various levels with National Account customers and key stakeholders both externally and internally.
Gain listings for NPD.
Ensure customer strategies are reported internally.
To prepare, present and execute annual business plans and strategies.
Work hand in hand with other functions (Marketing, Category, Shopper Marketing) to ensure customer promotional activity maximised through the available tools.
Ensure financial / production forecasts are built and maintained for all existing SKUs and NPD forecasts are built in time for launch plans.
Manage develop and grow range through range reviewing process alongside Category Management team.
Report regularly on activities to direct report, Sales Director.
