The Company:
Our Client has a vacancy within their Commercial Team for a Marketing Data Analyst.
Job Responsibilities:
* To analyse sales and marketing data and identify trends in products and market sectors, spot opportunities for future growth or new products and develop commercial proposals.
* To develop strong working relationships with key customer contacts.
* General duties to ensure that the requirements of customers are met at all times.
* The role involves regular contact with customers and suppliers by both phone and email.
* Analyse the performance across all products identifying key trends
* Review the performance of corrective action
* Work with the Commercial Manager to complete the Customer Category
* Reviews making recommendations for future seasons.
* Present along with the Commercial Manager at the Category Reviews
* Attend pre-merchandising meetings.
* To provide information to influence and improve the performance of lines
* Ad-hoc analysis and requests from Commercial, Planning and external customers
* Ad-hoc analysis of new business opportunities
Preferred Skills:
* A high level of computer literacy, particularly Excel
* Well-developed analytical skills
* A high level of accuracy
* Good customer relationship skills
* The ability to prioritise and deliver to tight deadlines
* Working within the FMCG market and/or previous experience of Sainsburys Horizon and Waitrose Connect would be useful but not essential.
* Any experience of dealing with the Multiples would be an advantage.
