Internet/Online Manager - Manchester
Brand new, exciting opportunity for an Internet/Online Manager to join a start-up business stream within an already established and UK leading business
This role holder will initially take sole responsibility for devising, developing and implementing/driving the online side of the business
This is a high profile position, and you will create an online presence by shaping the website to create optimum client experience and deliver optimum business conversion. In addition, you will control marketing spend for PPC, SEO, Social Media, Advertising and Direct Mail by creating, measuring and improving campaigns across all channels. You will also be responsible for client retention after the initial acquisition
Essential experience and responsibilities:
*Significant track record of successful E-commerce marketing
*PPC campaign experience (you will develop a key word strategy for the PPC campaign and optimise the traffic to the website from both a quality and spend perspective, implement keyword activity measurement tools, and continually monitor and PPC campaign to evolve the strategy)
*Clear understanding of the various online channels and how to identify and maximise opportunities
*Experience of writing client facing copy in all of the mediums of web, direct mail, email, eshots and advertising
*Experience of Web Analytic tools such as Google Analytics and Hitwise
*Experience of client retention strategies
*Experience of strategy planning, and the delivery of this
*Managing relationships with external agencies providing PPC/SEO services
*You will liaise with similar roles within the larger group to ensure a co-ordinated approach to web and other marketing channels and thereby optimise all opportunities for the wider benefit of the group
This person must be confident with natural influencing and interpersonal skills. You should also be target driven, with a strong strategic vision and a real passion for all online. You MUST have held a similar role to be considered. You will need to be hands on as well as strategic
Any experience of start-up operations would be advantageous. This Internet/Online Manager role will grow as the business grows and as such there is a real opportunity to continue to progress your career
