Job Description:

We have a fantastic opportunity for an AML Policy & Advisory Manager to join the UK Corporate Banking division. You'll play a key part in helping re-shape the division's approach to managing its compliance risks.

My client manages its compliance risk in a manner which will support the organisation to achieve and maintain its goals of standalone strength and sustainable growth through maintaining market confidence, delivering stable earnings growth, maintaining capital adequacy, and providing efficient access to funding and liquidity.

Requirements:

As AML Policy & Advisory Manager - Corporate & Institutional Banking, you'll need to display extensive knowledge and awareness of relevant AML / STF legislation and regulation. And a clear track record of achievement and delivery in a similar environment within a major financial services organisation will be essential. Naturally AML / STF policy writing, advice and assurance experience is also essential as well as a working knowledge of products, risks, processes and controls ideally within a commercial banking environment.

Responsibilities:

You'll be accountable for ensuring compliance with Group AML / STF policy standards and Corporate Banking division AML / STF standards. And as AML Policy & Advisory Manager you'll challenge and influence senior management within the business ensuring risks are mitigated and / or remain within appetite. Additionally, you'll have the opportunity to provide input in to the annual MLRO report covering Corporate Banking activities. And you will ensure that an effective assurance programme is in place to assess compliance with both Group and Corporate Banking AML / STF policy requirements.
