* Secure Membership renewal within pre set timescales by proactive follow up to members under guidance of Membership Manager
* Work with Membership Administration Officer to fully understand Membership renewals outstanding on daily/weekly basis
* Follow set process to proactively secure Membership renewal ahead of specified dates
* Draw upon range of tools available to influence and negotiate Membership renewal
* Actively book appointments in Business Development Officer diaries as appropriate to resolve any waivering around renewal
* Record accurately updates on interactions with members and ensure all discussions are confirmed to member business
* Pro actively promote appropriate benefits and services to members in line with category and sector
* See agreement to event attendance, sponsorship and advertising spend as appropriate
* Fully support Membership Administration Officer and Membership Liaison Officer as required within immediate team
* Maintain effective relationships with BDO Team to maximise service and support to members
* Maintain "courtesy" call contact with "loyalty scheme" members to maximise contact names and wider feedback
* Where required undertake Zone Marketing activities to potential members/key sectors
* Work with wider team on specified projects as required
* Undertake additional duties as agreed with line manager
* Adhere to the company Health and Safety and Equality and Diversity policy and all IiP Standards and HR policies and procedures at all times.
Essentail Factors/Experience:
* Degree or similar in Business studies
* Debtor Collection procedures
* NVQ
* Understanding of membership processes and compliance
* Understanding of South Wales market
* In a similar role/ membership or finance environment.
* Telesales experience
* Working in a multi-Functional team
* Working with database/CRM systems
* Influencing and negotiation skills
* Ability to communicate and influence
* Organisation skills
* Attention to detail and follow process
* Communication skills
* Ability to work under pressure
* Excellent Analytic and numerical skills
* Microsoft Office
