Outsource UK Ltd is actively seeking to recruit an IT Purchasing Manager for a permanent role with one of our clients.

The Job: Hands on IT Procurement/IS Procurement Professional needed - Tender/Supplier/Contracts Management This role will eventually manage a small team but hands on experience is essential Implement a category management approach to procurement and lead creative/strategic thinking within the team Ensure tenders and contracts: comply with all regulatory requirements, STW procedures and incorporate the requirements of SAP (eg catalogues, Work Force Management, Asset Management). Ensure that suppliers are effectively managed and driven to continuously improve their performance and costs. Effectively liaise and communicate with a wide range of stakeholders to ensure that their business needs are met.
The role will be a required to attend some stakeholder management meetings and may be required to act as a single point of contact for certain departments (eg be their single point of contact for all communications and issues). The role may also be required to undertake responsibility for specific high value, high risk categories of spend, including all the associated purchasing activity (please refer to the Category Manager role descriptor for more information)
