A vacancy has arisen for HVAC Engineer to work on our client's site at Capenhurst, Nr Chester.

Purpose:
To provide general electrical/mechanical maintenance supports on refrigeration/air conditioning, heating equipment and associated plant as part of a multi disciplined team.

Principal Accountabilities:

To carry out planned preventative maintenance tasks on a variety of plant, equipment and industrial service supplies including:-

HVAC plant and associated equipment
Industrial/commercial chillers and various split systems
Building management systems
AHU plant and associated equipment

To carry out reactive repair tasks on site plant and equipment similar to the above
To undertake all duties in a safe, tidy and responsible manner in accordance with Health & Safety requirements
To ensure that spares and materials are used in a cost effective manner
To carry out other duties as may reasonably be requested from time to time by site management or the client
To obey client site rules and to maintain a high standard of discipline at all times
To work as an on-call duty engineer as part of a team
To complete site work order documentation to required site standards
To carry out other duties that may be reasonably requested from time to time by client management team
To carry out gritting duties on site and be a member of the on call gritting team

Qualifications and Experience:

Solid background within a similar role
Refrigeration qualifications NVQ/C&G Certificate
City & Guilds Level 2 award in F Gas and ODS Regulations: Category 1, 500/5730/3
Refrigerant handling certification
Knowledge of Permit to Work System

The successful candidate will be required to undergo security vetting procedures, currently at SC level. Any offer of a job will be subject to the candidate achieving suitable clearances.
