Our client, the region's biggest supplier of telecom communications, is looking to increase their sales team.

Day to day duties:

- To achieve defined order targets and goals through pro-active telesales contact with existing customers and new businesses.
- To sell the full range of BT products and services, pro-actively up-selling and cross-selling new products and services to these customers.
- To protect the existing customers from competitive attack
- To find and engage with non BT customers to secure current and future opportunity
- To work in a manner consistent with the telesales KPIs.
- To ensure all customer details, information and interaction are entered into OneView (CRM) in a timely and complete manner.

As a person you must have the following qualities:

- Sales Skills/Proficiency - The ability to utilise sales skills and product knowledge to generate solutions and orders.
- The ability to utilise a sales call to meet the following format of sales methodology
- Move quickly and efficiently past gate keepers
- Engage and motivate the key contact or decision maker by providing a clear and concise opening Benefit Statement
- Quickly build Rapport/Empathy and understand the customers' business model and any unique features of their business. Use standard recognised probing to techniques to fully understand the companies' process and operating structure
- Build and create needs from information provided
- Summarise key objectives and needs with the customer and gain commitment to resolve the needs and agree a sensible and practical timeframe
- Build and all-encompassing new solution for the customer to meet key objectives and identified needs
- Present the solution in a positive manner focusing on a comparison to the current situation and specific measurable benefits to the customer
- Close quickly and confidently for the order and use standard objection handling techniques to handle reasonable objection
- Maintain control of the opportunity at all times
- Customer Focus - The ability to meet and exceed customer needs to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Communications Skills - The ability to communicate over the phone in an engaging and convincing way.
- Interpersonal and Team Skills - The ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and colleagues.
- Disciplined Work Approach - The ability to complete multiple tasks on time and to a quality standard.
- Minimum GCSE A level or above, evidence of successful qualifications will be required
- Minimum 12 months proven successful track record in outbound sales, evidence of consistent over target performance will need to be provided
- Evidence of structured sales training to meet the requirements of key competencies is ideal but not essential
