Responsibilities & Tasks:
Responsibilities are carried out within a Team environment whereby normal line management reporting is to the Account Manager and if unavailable, the Project Manager. Day to day tasking of workload and priority reporting is to the Project Engineer or SLS Support Engineer. The predominant responsibility is to the Account Manager.
- Provide a consistent and controlled method for administration tasks within the Account Team as required.
- Provide a consistent and controlled method for the updating of AutoCAD drawings and any associated documentation as required.
- Provide a consistent and controlled method for the processing/creation of Materials/BOMs in SAP.
- Ensuring technical standards are maintained and items are linked to the correct documentation.
- Ensuring compliance with naming convention guidelines, classification guidelines and traceability guidelines and provide advice to engineers on these issues where appropriate.
- Ensuring correct and consistent plant specific material settings.
- Establish QM requirements in materials according to engineering instructions and company guidelines.
- Avoid material duplication by reviewing existing database against new material requests and following any instructions from product managers regarding standard materials.
- Review materials created monthly for consistency in applied settings.
- Act as a point of contact for engineering for all SAP material issues.
- Provide advice to engineers on correct SDRL use and act as a point of contact for supply chain regarding allocating SDRLs to materials being purchased where an SDRL is not already linked to the material.
- Process engineering material reports for live projects, including passing summary reports to project engineers.
- Identifying any engineering actions and the monitoring of.
- Provide support to engineers in investigating and resolving issues highlighted by the engineering material report.
- Addressing any issues arising in the reports relating to SDRL and traceability problems in the materials.

Qualifications / Personal Attributes:Standard Grade level 2 relevant passes or equivalent
HNC / HND in Engineering or Business Administration or NVQ to level 3 or equivalent.
AutoCAD C & G, AutoCAD Essentials course or equivalent
