If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to support the work of the Learning Disabilities service.

You will work in a multi-disciplinary Community Learning Disabilities Team, which is fully integrated with health and comprises of professionals from both social care and health care backgrounds.

You will be a highly motivated and dynamic individual who is able to use initiative during changing times.

You will be committed to ensuring that a timely, high quality service is delivered to all clients and their carers, according to Dorset County Council’s performance management requirements.

You will be responsible for the day-to-day operational management of the team; the supervision and professional support of the social care staff; managing and undertaking Safeguarding Adult investigations; and to deputise for the Integrated Team Manager as and when required.

Experience working with learning disabled adults and their carers is preferred but not essential.
