Senior Buyers - Construction/Maintenance
Leading organisation in the Social Housing sector has several exciting opportunities for Procurement Professionals to join the Purchasing team as part of a drive to develop into a more proactive strategic procurement function.

This represents a fantastic opportunity to join a leading organisation currently undergoing an exciting period of growth and transition as they centralise their Procurement Function, with excellent career development prospects through investment in staff training.

THE ROLE

* Create purchasing contracts and tenders for a range of goods and services within the FM / construction category areas, including maintenance, repair and improvements.
* Ensure that all procurement specifications are delivered in line with Office of the Journal of the European Union (OJEU) regulations.
* Build and develop relationships with key suppliers including monitoring performance and KPIs
* Engage with key internal stakeholders as well as external contacts in order to achieve best value at the highest quality.
* Be an active part in the full end-to-end sourcing process, managing the tenders and contracts that result.
* Work with the procurement managers to develop and implement sourcing strategy and procedures across purchasing and supply chain.

REQUIREMENTS

* Demonstrable depth of experience preparing procurement contracts or tenders in line with OJEU legislation or within a highly regulated environment
* Experience in construction/FM procurement, (mainly services, maintenance, or repair contracts) is vital.
* Ideally you will have experience working in the Construction, FM or Housing sectors.
* Good communication skills, able to build and develop strong relationships with key suppliers

Salary: Up to £48k depending on experience.
