Procurement Manager: Indirects & Professional Services within a Global Multi-$bn Financial Services organisation in the midst of corporate transformation. Operating within a "Best-in-Class" Sourcing function you will be responsible for managing a diverse category portfolio across the EMEA and APAC regions.

This is an exciting opportunity to take a newly created role, forming part of a growing Procurement function, reporting directly to the Sourcing Director. The vacancy presents a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious candidate keen to develop their career within an organisation embracing new developments in procurement.

Role:

* Establishing global category strategies across a broad range of indirect spend. Projects can include exposure to Marketing, Professional Services, HR & Recruitment, FM, Fleet, Utilities, etc.
* Mapping key Stakeholders, securing buy-in and support, building relationships and engagement
* Operating as an advocate of Procurement; selling the benefits and raising the profile of Sourcing
* Delivering commercial value through leveraging spends on a global scale, developing and implementing robust sourcing strategies in what is currently a relatively unstructured environment.
* Driving innovation and challenging historic principles and practices

The role is very much delivery focused with a tangible cost-saving target associated. As such, suitable candidates will be able to demonstrate an ability to manage multiple concurrent projects, working in a fast-paced environment and with a track record of delivering cost-savings beyond target.

Experience:

* Demonstrable depth of procurement experience and knowledge of strategic sourcing methodologies, ideally across a broad range of indirect spend categories.
* Candidate must be a pro-active self-starter with a dynamic and resilient nature working in a fast-paced, challenging environment
* Consultative style, with an ability to engage/influence global stakeholders up to C-Level, building trust through knowledge and delivery
* Strong negotiator with ability to demonstrate solid savings delivery to date
* Demonstrates 'blue-chip' experience; encompassing exposure to international sourcing projects
* Ideally MCIPS and/or Degree qualified
