Purchasing / Subcontract Management opportunity in leading Global business.

Leading global manufacturer has a number of exciting vacancies within their procurement function for candidates to join within purchasing, subcontract management, or commodity management leading the full end-to-end procurement for your key category area(s).

These roles have come up due to a major reinvestment in the West Sussex site and as such represents a fantastic opportunity to work for one of the biggest names in the industry sector with excellent international prospects, with great potential for personal development in the business.

THE ROLE

You will be responsible for taking the lead on a number of high value sourcing projects, managing the full end-to-end procurement process including tender, negotiation and awarding contracts.

The successful candidates will also be expected to build and develop strong working relationships with key suppliers as well as working closely with Engineering to build an in-depth understanding of your key commodity areas.

REQUIREMENTS

* Demonstrable depth of procurement, supply chain, or subcontracts experience in a fast-paced, dynamic purchasing environment, ideally within a related Manufacturing or Engineering sector.
* Alternatively someone with a Commerical or Operations background used to working in a complex matrix enviornment will also be suitable.
* Ideally qualified to Degree Level or CIPS certified.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to build and develop strong working relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.

Salary: £40,000 - £48,000 + Bonus, Private Medical, Pension, etc.
