WUBS has an exciting career opportunity for a Lead Analyst, Global Regulatory Management.
In this position you will be part of the Consumer Protection, Compliance and Ethics Department (CPCE) and you will be responsible for assisting with the preparation and submission of all annual reports and business licenses for all WU companies.
This position is responsible for ensuring that all reports have been filed on time and in accordance with each jurisdictions due date.
In addition, this position is responsible for maintaining schedules of all due dates and materials required to complete timely filings.
This position will research and follow up with state/city agencies to resolve any problems with state filings.
This position will also assist the manager in special projects.
They will also assist or lead in qualification and dissolution projects. Finally this position will assist manager in ad hoc state/jurisdiction requests, i.e. audits.
Qualifications
- Previous experience working in a corporate secretary office environment;
- Strong organizational skills - must be able to balance extreme pressure and deadlines with constantly changing priorities;
- Proven ability to independently research, extract and utilize information either gather from an on-line legal research program, law library, or state statutes and regulations on premises;
- Advanced PC skills - includes the ability to maintain a database, extract, query and prepare ad hoc reports;
- Strong communication and customer service skills for dealing with state contacts and internal senior management;
- Must be able to perform independently and with minimal supervision;
- Previous secretary of state filing experience;
- Previous experience qualifying and/or dissolving entities;
- Knowledge of WU''s corporate structure and companies;
- College accounting coursework
- Certified paralegal from ABA accredited program.
- Bachelors degree is related area
