Butler Ross are recruiting on behalf of a globally recognised brand for an IT Procurement Manager. This role is instrumental in ensuring that all hardware, software, services and support are managed effectively from a commercial standpoint and best value for money is secured.
The Procurement Manager will also ensure that the business apply best practice procurement methodology to all their technology procurement activities and thereby ensures a balanced approach is taken to costs / benefits / risks and quality.

The key accountabilities in this role include among others;
Managing the day to day commercial activity with 3rd party IT suppliers across Hardware, Software and Services; Developing and implementing 'best practice' procurement strategies; Managing the supply chain to develop and sustain appropriate relationships with key suppliers to provide the best possible long term service levels; Reviewing and advising on contractual arrangements ensuring fit for purpose allowing for flexibility and future potential.

This role would suit a Category Manager, Sourcing Manager, Procurement Manager or similar with experience in a Technology Procurement role within a 'Blue Chip' environment.
