Job Role:

Quarterly reporting to the Client on all income, expenditure and related matters, including accruals.
Detailed analysis of Actual versus Budget and Forecast versus Budget identifying variances under
key category headings (Rent reviews, lease renewals, expires, new letting, premiums, etc);
Annual preparation of the Clients Revenue Budget, liaising with all interested parties (Client
Finance & Asset Managers, Real Estate, Building Surveyors, Facilities Team, Letting
Agents, Rent Review Agents, Contractors, etc);
Monitor and approve all expenditure against revenue budget up to set limits. Assist and advise
users on managing processes on Agresso and ensuring prompt and correct entry of data onto
Clients Ledgers. Regular house keeping on transactions to clear duplicate Purchase Orders, goods
receipts, etc; Responsible for the update/upkeep of Agresso users;
Monitor and approve all sales ledgers transactions on Agresso. Ensure prompt payment of all
Agresso debtors;
Monitoring of Annual Service Charge Budgets against client non recoverable expenditure within the
annual revenue budgets. Identify and reporting of large variances from budget. Liaising with Service
Charge Manager, Birmingham, to ensure all client deadlines are achieved;
Monitoring and reporting on all client arrears in respect of non-recoverable service charge
expenditure;
Review of tenant arrears (rent & service charge) monthly with credit control team. Identify at risk
tenants and amend forecast as appropriate. Reporting on arrears. Review all completion
statements with credit control (surrenders, premiums, dilapidations, etc);
Review all side by side (turnover rent) transactions to ensure correct calculation and monitor
against budget/forecast. Advise client of any large variances;
Prepare company analysis of prospective tenants, assignees to recommend whether they will have
sufficient funds to meet rental commitments, etc;
Assist in the preparation/management of contractual & performance fees;
Oversee capital project accounting, ensuring the correct allocation of transactions and monitoring
spend against budget;
Has an awareness of wider team or department budget.

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS

Experience of working in Real Estate industry;
Producing Budgets / Forecast and variance analysis;
Monthly Reporting to Senior Management via dashboards;
Varied systems experience BO experience essential;
Ability to analyse costs and produce cost bridge;
Demonstrable experience of partnering with the business;
Experience of IT systems including Microsoft Office and the ability to utilise the range of software
packages available within the business.
