Mackenzie Stuart is pleased to announce the organisation has the opportunity to represent an award winning construction business leading the way in developing cutting edge technology in the construction of prestigious, high profile commercial developments which could encompass civils, building, utilities and rail.
*This business is looking to appoint a Managing Director to take on the challenge of furthering the business both financially and commercially offering a superb technical advisory service to the Construction sector, responsible for Healthcare, Education and Defence schemes valuing in excess of £200m.

THE ROLE
* Responsible to the Executive Board, the successful appointment will be overseeing the day to day operation of a £500m business, liaising with senior management teams overseeing company affairs, finances and staff well being.
* The business is looking for an investment for the future with a proven track record looking after organisation circa £500m and are not afraid of making difficult decisions at sometimes very challenging times.
* This organisation is looking for a leader, to develop, recommend and implement the company's five year business plan, with a key factor being on maintaining the company's strategy as a leader in the construction industry.
* Applicants will encourage and develop continuous business development and strategy to ensure bids and work winnings execution is at the highest level.

KEY EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
* This role requires senior board level management experience within the construction industry, ideally focusing on Healthcare, Education and Defence.
* There should be a very high level of organisational and planning skills, offering the level of intensity to run a large P&L and will possess the financial acumen to ensure the company meets the expectations of the Executive and Non-Executive board.
