The company is an International manufacturing organization and 1st tier supplier into the Automotive sector. The business was established In 1946 and now employs around 22,000 people across 107 facilities worldwide.
The role:
The ideal candidate will be a Black Belt or Master Black Belt and will be responsible to provide visibility of program APQP risks globally and Conduct Quality methodology training across the business. You will also be responsible to Support global process improvement projects using DMAIC methodology as well as coordinate the (POAE) Six Sigma methodology application and process improvements for Information systems
Quality Planning OEM Programs
* Ensure quality methodology application on programs
* Participate in Category 3 Program Reviews (BU level) and Design Quality Leader participates in Category 2 (divisional level)
* Take part in the BU CQM meetings periodically and liaise with the BU Quality managers on content of the APQP monthly reports
* Ensure and consolidate monthly PQL and CQM reporting at a global level
* Ensure that the key risks on all programs from the quality perspective are highlighted and effectively resolved through the BU CQM meetings
* Escalate risks to Development Quality Leader
Support (POAE) Six Sigma Methodology
* Support global process improvement projects using DMAIC methodology
* Coordinate Greenbelts and Black belt project reviews and maintain training and qualification
Plant and Program support
* Be the master trainer for the development organization of core quality tools & processes
* Be the trainer for OPTIMAP fundamentals for the deployment of the embedded APQP processes
* At request of the Business Unit Quality Manager or Operations director or Quality Director assist a plant organization to apply quality
planning methodologies
IT Tools (information Systems)
* Support the IS deployment of quality core tools & reporting software according to the Quality IS improvement roadmap
* Maintain an overview of Software globally utilized e.g. FMEA software
* Manage training modules for the IS applications
Requirements:
* Black Belt / Master Black Belt (essential)
* Operations, Quality or program management background
* Minimum 5 years' experience in Automotive industry
* University engineering degree (e.g. BSc, MSc, MEng, BEng.)
* Automotive global requirements
* Risk management Software moderation - FMEA
* IT systems in the Automotive world
