Our client is recruiting a Marketing Category Manager who can deliver improved value, supplier management and contracting skills, across a wide range of business areas in respect to Marketing spend and contracts in a complex, ever changing and fast moving environment.

Key Responsibilities will include:-
- Provide category management and oversight to commercial agreements, supplier management and all aspects of supplier relationships
- Marketing goods and services including sponsorships, events, trade shows, agencies, marketing print and fulfillment.
- Establish and negotiate cost effective multisite purchase agreements and manage suppliers
- Identify areas for continuous improvement related to the purchasing process internally and externally.

The successful candidate will be educated to degree level with previous Marketing procurement experience on an EMEA/Global basis along with:-
- Proven track record of success as a marketing Procurement Manager
- Full understanding of RFI/RFP and ITT process
- Effective team player with excellent communication skills
- In depth knowledge of purchasing principles, theories and concepts.
