Our client is one of the healthiest banks in the world at this current time (virtually zero exposure to the sub-prime market). An opportunity has arisen to join this banking group as a Sharepoint Business Analyst to work out of the London hub (employing c.1000 individuals) with a 300+ strong IT unit supporting the EMEA region (ITIL environment).

Our client is seeking a technical aware Business Analyst with experience of infrastructure projects within the in Banking / Finance sector. Your will have an excellent understanding of SharePoint and SharePoint designer 2010/2013 capacity and able to understand technical specifications and discuss with technical solution teams and developers. The role holder should have a good awareness of common infrastructure areas: Server technologies, virtualisation, DBA functions and be able to talk to these departments with credibility

Responsibilities:
-Business analysis requirements gathering / use case analysis / business process analysis (UML)
-Systems analysis - gap analysis, functional / nonfunctional specifications, test planning
-Identify opportunities for improvements and automation
-Document business processes
-Document requirements and create screen mock-ups
-Generate technical requirements and proof of concept solutions
-Help implement the new SharePoint processes, features and tools
-Liaise with users and vendors to support the SharePoint environment
-Develop requirements for enterprise content management (ECM)
Essential experience:
-SharePoint 2010/2013
-Systems Development Experience.
-Understand and create SQL scripts
-System Analysis skills
-AD Initiatives
-Microsoft product upgrades/implementation experience.

This role requires a mix of traditional business analysis skills with a genuine overview awareness of large scale Microsoft infrastructure environments.

Contract rate: up to £500 per day for 6 months initially
