IT SECURITY Professional Services Consultant get Pre-Sales

£70K - £90K Package, Broad role covering mainly Implementation, Technology Consulting, Project Management and Customer Training and an opportunity to move more into the Pre-Sales environment. You will also gain knowledge around PCI DSS, GPG 13, Protective Monitoring, HMG IA Standards, JSP 440, BIPS 008, ISO 27001.

They are enjoying rapid growth and stealing market share across the UK and EMEA and offer you the chance to take on a pivotal role with direct impact in the ongoing success of the company in the Professional Services team. As part of an exceptional team you will get to take on Pre-Sales, Project Management Consulting and Training to end user customers in the Banking, Retail, Local and Central Government and MoD customers requiring exceptional interpersonal skills.
You will undergo intensive training to learn the product whilst receiving mentoring and job shadowing. The client will invest in you in certified training courses as well as providing you with SC Clearance.

On joining you will be walking onto a variety of projects worth in excess of £2.5m initially shadowing experienced consultants. You will also get Pre-Sales responsibility for helping the customer use the software and upgrade and upsell which will provide you the Pre-Sales stepping stone.

You need to have 5-10 years recent and current Information Security - Information Assurance - technology consulting experience with Information Security or IT in Central Gov and have the propensity and willingness to learn Microsoft SQL, AD, RegEx enabling you to implement full scale SIEM solutions within a Microsoft centric environment. You will also get involved with customers Proof of Concepts when delivering software solutions demonstrations to meet compliance mandates such as:- PCI DSS, GPG 13, Protective Monitoring, HMG IA Standards, JSP 440, BIPS 008, ISO 27001. This role is more about Professional Services but can lead into a more Pre-Sales role.

Due to the close team and initial training you will undergo, it is preferred that you live within an hour of the office based near Maidenhead. Customers are typically located along the M4 corridor and London and longer term, Europe.
