THE ROLE AND YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

This role will be working in a team of 3 reporting in to the Purchasing Manager and will require the monitoring of a range of suppliers KPIs and SLAs as well as having a customer facing element.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing clients with innovative procurement solutions ensuring that they are able to make well informed decisions.
You will need to be confident in setting up and running meetings with the suppliers as well as presenting and updating the respective clients.

EXPERIENCE SOUGHT IN THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE:
Due to the nature and role of the business, we are looking for candidates with the drive and ambition to impact on the success of the company. In order to be considered you will need to meet the following criteria as a minimum.

Essential:
Strong purchasing experience across a range of commodities (Indirect exposure would be ideal)
Design and implement category management plans
Experience in a faced paced high pressure environment
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Internal and external stakeholder management
Good team worker
Enthusiastic
Self starter and ability to prioritise
Eligible to live and work in the UK
Commutable to Leicester

Desirable:
Degree educated
MCIPS qualified
