This role will provide commercial support to Vodafone UK through end to end management of the procurement process for high/medium risk, high/medium value procurement activity within the Marketing category.

The Marketing category cover's: Marketing communications (above and below the line), Media, Market Research, Digital Marketing, Public Relations, Local Sponsorship, Print and Production, Experiential Marketing and Events.

As a Marketing Supply Chain Consultant your main responsibilities will involve:

* Ensure UK Operating companies views and requirements are understood during the strategy development and represent the UK Operating Company in any subsequent negotiations.
* Manage the procurement process for key projects, ensuring the selection of suppliers with the capability to meet our needs, high service standards, efficient executions and competitive rates.
* Lead complex commercial reviews and negotiations
* Identify and deliver commercial best practices and synergy benefits through effective collaboration with peers in other Operating Companies, and Global Supply Chain.
* Manage stakeholder relations at all levels including senior stakeholders. Influence, challenge and drive change to add incremental value.

As a Marketing Supply Chain Consultant your skills and qualifications will ideally include:

* Experienced contracts negotiator and challenges the business requirements
* Proficient knowledge of contract law
* Experienced in strategic sourcing and supplier management
* Good understanding of financial modelling and total cost of ownership
