Our client is currently looking to recruit an Account Manager. This position is for an experienced candidate with previous experience of Account Management with Retail clients.

The position is ideally suited to someone who has experience of the H&B, promotions, hardlines or stationery categories and will be managing Key Grocery retailer customers and brands such as: Sainsburys, Aldi, Wilkinson, Boots, Morrisons etc

This role will likely be home based with at least 2 days per week in the Hull Head Office and the balance spent either with customers or in the Christchurch Head Office

Applicants should have proven experience working with the main UK grocery retailers i.e. Tesco, Asda, Morrisons, Marks & Spencer, Waitrose etc. In addition, experience in the Wholesaler and Convenience sector would also be useful.

Essential requirements: Proven experience in FMCG sales; Be focused on results and driven by a natural passion to win; Be able to work under own direction but following targets set by the business; Analytical attitude to help identify trends and opportunities; Familiarity with retailer operational/store environment; Excellent at building new relationships.
