A unique and exciting fast track career opportunity for a Junior Buyer to join one of the most dynamic FTSE 100 Retail companies experiencing a period of rapid growth in the UK market. Working within a fast paced dynamic procurement function on a number of Greenfield projects, you will be responsible for sourcing within the IT/Telco category operating within an international remit.

Coming from a background in either Hardware, Software, IT Services or Telecoms Sourcing, you will be reporting directly into the Senior Category Manager playing a key part in implementing the new strategy plan in place for the business, taking a pro-active commercial approach to procurement within global sourcing activity including low cost country sourcing.

Your remit will include leading day to day sourcing activity across the IT category including a wide portfolio of sub-categories, including hardware, software and services, implementing all processes and procedures with the delivery of significant target savings.

You will support the delivery of Key contracts, working with the contract management and SRM teams in a role that will offer an unprecedented level of exposure and experience within a blue chip Retail environment.

Experience:

- Strong Sourcing Skillset
- Experience and knowledge of managing any of the following categories: IT Hardware, IT Software, IT Services, Telecoms
- Strong Commercial Acumen
- Excellent stakeholder communication and influencing skills
- Degree Qualified is essential
