Experis are looking on behalf of our Client for an experienced Signalling Verifier for a variety of Rail projects within their York office. Reporting into the Signalling Design Manager this is a key role leading a design team.

The main responsibilities of this role are -

* Allocate workload within Design team
* Monitor progress of works within the team, agreeing any alterations with Design Manager
* Responsible for the design / checking of signalling schemes
* Analysing existing signalling circuits
* Deal with internal and client technical queries
* Provide technical leadership and guidance within the team, promoting and supporting the ongoing technical development of your team members
* Mentor individuals undergoing competency certification arrangements

The successful applicant will display the following -

* IRSE Licence holder as Principles Designer / Signalling Design Verifier
* Appropriate level of technical qualifications - ONC / HNC or similar
* Proficient in all categories of signalling design activity
* Competent in design production techniques and skills for Signalling Systems
* Ensure all work carried out to an appropriate standard
* IT Literate proficient in use of CAD systems - Microstation would be beneficial

This is a permanent opportunity with attractive salary and bonus package with overtime available depending on workload. this role would suit someone already working as a Verifier or someone at Principles level who has completed the necessary IRSE certification and is looking to take the step up to Verifier.
