Working in the sales team aligned to several of HEINEKEN UK's key retail customers in Grocery. This role drives sales through key regional contacts and excellent brand activation and in-store events execution. As Retail Account Manager - Grocery, you will drive excellence in execution at the POP (point of purchase). This is a fantastic opportunity to be a proactive member of the account team, driving effectiveness & efficiency, creating competitive advantage in the eye of our Customers.

Key Responsibilities

Acting as an ambassador for HEINEKEN UK in all areas of customer contact, you will drive incremental business, to that already agreed at Head Office, with key regional customer contacts via:

- Range advice to drive HEINEKEN UK and category sales.
- Promotions (and in some accounts pricing) to drive HEINEKEN UK sales at a local or store format level.
- Merchandising.
- Drive in-store discipline via retailer agreements.
- Local incremental investment for growth as agreed with the Account Director.
- Excellent implementation of Events with specific regions/ formats.
- Act as a liaison with the customer on claims disputes. On an account by account basis this role may also involve:
- Agreeing sign up to STAR Retailer - to implement HUK best practise in good convenience outlets.

INFORMATION & INSIGHT

- Sales evaluation & reporting - EPOS & SAP.
- Market Data reporting and insight including regular updates for account team & Customer.
- Management of retailer systems to provide account team support for POP objectives.
- Trading Terms & joint Business compliance in conjunction with HUK Finance team.
- Monthly in-store review.

FIELD TEAM INTERFACE

- Monthly toolkit and support to McCurrach.
- Monthly presentation of POP objectives at McCurrach divisional meetings.
- Insight from Retailer systems to support Field team objectives.
