An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Laboratory Technician based in Suffolk to join an expanding company, a manufacturer of cosmetics and toiletries. As a Laboratory Technician you will be directly working with the senior chemists and the laboratory manager in producing products of all relevant categories and in-line with daily priorities.

As a Laboratory Technician your duties will include:

- Preparing formulations.
- Contacting suppliers and requesting raw materials for development.
- Assisting the senior chemists in troubleshooting manufactured batch issues.
- Maintaining key documentation and product documents.
- Preparation of samples (For customers, stability, challenge etc).

An ideal Laboratory Technician will hold the following skills and experiences:

- A background in cosmetics and toiletries (Including recent Cosmetic science graduates).
- Organising, planning, and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work as a part of a team as well as be self motivated.
- High standard on Microsoft packages, excel, outlook, word, power point.

In return you will receive a salary of up to £18,000 per annum.
