Responsibilities

An exciting opportunity has arisen within our team at Anglian Water’s Central Laboratory, Huntingdon.

Working in our modern and well equipped laboratory, you will be primarily responsible for assisting the senior scientist, in providing a high quality analytical service to the business. You will be taking responsibility for helping us to meet our goals for regulatory monitoring and ensuring that health and safety and quality practices are adhered to at all times.

This will involve making sure that training amongst the team is carried out to a high standard, balancing workloads and assisting in the guidance and supervision of technicians within your section.

Requirements

Ideally qualified to a relevant Degree level or significant proven experience in an environment laboratory, you will have a strong working background in an analytical capacity. A genuine eye for detail, being able to prioritise your workload and skills in Microsoft packages will also be required.
