Responsibilities
As a member of our Service Delivery Team this role will see you play a major part in the maintenance and servicing of our infrastructure assets (pipes). Using appropriate plant and equipment, you and your team members will be required to safely excavate, backfill and reinstate to HAUC standards, roadways, verges and pavements.

In this hands-on position you will also be expected to use the correct methods of signing, guarding and traffic management. Reading and interpreting asset plans for all utilities, completing excavation records and other relevant paper work are also integral to the role. Working outside in all weather conditions, to strict timescales, your work must meet standards set by the Local Highway Authority. You must also be able to deliver excellent customer service where reactive maintenance is required and be available on an on call rota for unsociable hours.

Requirements
You are required to have qualifications in New Roads and Street Works Act (NRSWA) to be able to work on the Highway for Signing and Guarding, Excavation and Reinstatement. Preferably CITB trained in the safe use of mini digger, JCB excavator and Lorry Loader equipment but this is not essential as training would be provided to the right applicant. A full driving license will also be required for this role ideally to standard CE + 1 or higher.
