Role Summary:

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the Procurement and Vendor Management Team.
The role is to provide corporate governance and oversight to commercial agreements, supplier management and all aspects of supplier relationships including commercial gravitas, strong negotiation support to a wide range of spend categories across the business, both within the UK and globally.

Essential Skills & Experience

* Proven track record in the successful support of a Marketing function within a global, complex organization. Demonstrable track record of effective negotiation and sustainable procurement
* Strong understanding of the Marketing market place, they will have experience in working with key Marketing, global vendors across the entire range of services provided
* Effective team player with excellent communication skills, along with the ability to motivate, influence and negotiate.
* Full understanding of RFI/RFP and ITT process
* Good knowledge of SLAs, KPIs, particularly with regard to enforcing those SLAs and KPIs

Desirable Skills & Experience

* Exposure to and understanding of legal frameworks and contract law
* Experience of undertaking market research and analysis across indirect & direct spend categories to provide evidence to support/facilitate sourcing decisions
* Knowledge of web based IT infrastructure technologies and understanding of financial reporting tools
* Understanding the firms corporate risk profile and ability to manage those risk
