Group Procurement Manager working in Manchester within the Business Services Sector
Role description
As Group Procurement Manager you will lead the development and implementation of group wide supply agreements that seek to generate best total value for the business. This isa Greenfield position and as such you will be in a position to develop procurement strategy from sourcing through to the supplier performance.
* Set group procurement strategy in areas of personal commodity portfolio
* Support introduction of best practice approaches to procurement activities
* Manage a spend of £50m across all categories including recruitment, fleet, stationery, IT and marketing
* Assist in raising the profile of the Procurement function within the Group.
* Deliver group objectives as they relate to areas of responsibility
Who we're looking for
You will be a Indirect Procurement Professional who is degree educated and MCIPS qualified. Experience of negotiating supply contracts for multi-site implementation is essential. Experience of best practice methodologies and techniques would add value to this position.
