Responsibilities

We have an exciting and unique opportunity for a Corporate Writer and Editor to join our already established team at Anglian Water here in our headquarters in Huntington

Your role will be to deliver key written corporate communications and publications for Anglian Water both internally and externally. You will ensure consistency and quality in all our written communications and make sure brand guidelines are adhered to. Your focus will be on delivering to the companies agreed tone of voice and reflecting the corporate messages and business goals.

The scope of the role includes employee, stakeholder and community communications through a range of existing channels as well as writing and delivering external publications, reports (including the Annual Report & Accounts), speaking notes and presentations.

Requirements

You will have proven experience in managing an in-house publication and understand how to manage your creative writing skills with the tone of voice of the business. Having the ability to reach deadlines and produce professional and creative writing whilst doing a vast amount of editorial work is key.

Written, verbal and presentational skills are critical to success in this role, as are strong organisational and planning skills. You will be a proactive networker who is confident in your approach and able to work as part of a team or alone. IT skills will also be required, specifically in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
