Responsibilities

With over six million customers spread across 27,500 square km, we supply and transport water across a bigger geographical area than any other company in the UK. It’s a huge task, which you’ll help us deliver and in return, you might just get more than you expected.
Carrying out planned maintenance, and responding promptly to issues and incidents, you’ll keep all kinds of equipment at our Wastewater treatment plants working properly.
Out and about in all weathers, we’ll expect you to investigate and diagnose complex faults and to carry out repairs during incidents. You’ll make sure health and safety procedures are at the heart of everything that’s done, procuring whatever goods and services are needed to keep things flowing at the best possible value for our customers and us.
Requirements
To join us, you’ll need to have completed an appropriate Electrical or Mechanical apprenticeship. You’ll also have a range of qualifications: NVQ 2/ 3, City & Guilds 1 & 2, a relevant ONC / BTEC, PQs, and Electrical Appointment 4 – 1. You’ll be organised, a team player, and will have good communication skills. And, of course, you will be keen to develop a rewarding career and be the best you can be.
