European Merchandiser Fast Fashion West Midlands, Coventry, Birmingham

This is a rare opportunity for an experienced retail Merchandiser / Senior Merchandiser / Merchandise Planner to join this well regarded international retailer and be part of a multi million euro fast paced, highly profitable fashion category area.

You may well be an experienced merchandiser, looking for your next challenge and the opportunity to develop your merchandising career beyond the UK.

Your overall remit will be to trade your department by maximising sales and margin opportunities and minimising markdowns via effective merchandise planning.

Reporting to the Head of Merchandising and working closely with the Buyer for this fast moving fashion category, you will manage a small team of Assistant Merchandisers / Merch Assistants. Managing the OTB, you will optimise stock holding, creating weekly phased plans by category for sales, margin, stock and markdown.

The ideal candidate will be educated to degree level and will have a background in Fashion Merchandising.

You will have excellent trading skills with strong technical ability and the confidence to make impactful decisions, these will deliver outstanding results to the bottom line.

With outstanding analytical and Excel skills you will be proficient managing the critical path, range assortment and promotional / seasonal plans.
