Responsibilities

An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Asset Management Innovation team, for an Innovation Technologist based at Thorpe Wood House, Peterborough.

Reporting directly to the Innovation Programme Manager, you will investigate cutting-edge technologies and new approaches to conducting business, supervising projects from the conception stage right through to exploitation and implementation.

Enjoying real autonomy, you will identify technologies that can improve efficiency, bring real business benefits, sharpen customer service and significantly reduce costs. A key element of the role will involve demonstrating the business benefits of your projects and communicating recommendations to senior management.

Requirements

Educated to degree level in a Science or Engineering area, you will ideally have some knowledge of the processes used in sewerage, water recycling and anaerobic digestion.

You’ll possess excellent organisational and communication skills, be able to manage your time efficiently and have the ability to budget effectively. As well as sound numeracy skills, you must be IT literate and possess the ability to produce project reports.
