You have a flexible and adaptable approach and a willingness to work irregular and unsocial hours (daytime, late evenings and weekends). You must also be physically fit as moving and lifting equipment is involved. Experience or qualification in first aid would be desirable as is experience dealing with the public and working in a similar position.
Duties involve ensuring provision and promotion of a safe, enjoyable service to the public using the facilities, building security and maintenance checks/reports, hall preparation and cleaning.
This post is regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007.
The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. An offer of employment by Aberdeenshire Council will be subject to the outcome of this check being satisfactory.
The preferred candidate will also be required to provide an Overseas Criminal Records Check from other countries as deemed necessary.

Job Purpose

- To ensure that the Hall is accessible to those with arrangements to use it
