Telecoms / 1st & 2nd Line IT Support Engineer (IT / Telecoms / IP Office) - London

This is an excellent opportunity for a Junior Telecoms Support Engineer to join an expanding IT & telecommunications company based in Central London.
My client is looking for a technical IT Support Engineer with solid 1st & 2nd Line Support skills as well as some experience with telecommunications (ideally IP Office or other Avaya products).
You will be responsible for providing a 1st line support function; responding to client calls and resolving technical issues over the phone as well as supporting Senior Engineers in VOIP and telecom project installations (including VOIP unified communications, single SME site telephone systems installations through to more complex multi -site networks and contact centre projects).
To be suitable for this position you will have sound experience in a 1st/2nd line support role and a good understanding of IT, networking and TCP/IP. Commercial experience or training with telecommunications and associated products such as Avaya IP Office is also required.
