Working for this well known international brand, the Assistant Financial Controller is a key part of the hotel finance team. They are required to support the hotel on a day-to-day basis, both from a decision support, compliance and finance perspective.

Job Description:
* Maintain accurate accounting records in accordance with UK GAAP
* Manage the month end process
* Carry out balance sheet reconciliations, with fully supportive balance sheet file each month
* Produce accurate management information for the hotel and HO in a timely manner
* Suggest opportunities to improve revenue, productivity and profitability
* Fully assist and support the Hotel Financial Controller
* Deputise for the Financial Controller in their absence
* Carry out decision support analysis for the hotel, e.g. outlet profitability
* Ensure that all internal/ external customer requests and queries are responded to promptly and effectively
* Fully embellish and take part in the hotel training and Daily Habits
* Actively engage in own personal development to benefit the business and develop personal skills

Skills/Experience:
* ACCA/ CIMA part-qualified
* Good leadership and people development skills
* Previous experience in a similar role in a hotel highly desirable
* Commercial acumen
* Good team player
* Motivated, passionate and driven
* Good communication skills
* Good influencing skills
