The International HIV/AIDS Alliance supports community action on HIV, health and human rights to end AIDS. Our vision is a world in which communities have brought an end to HIV transmission, and secured their health and human rights. Since 1994, the Alliance and its partners have supported over 3,000 projects, in over 40 countries, reaching millions of people.

We are seeking a Support Officer to take responsibility for producing cost applications for proposals and task order requests developed by the Business Development team. S/he will liaise closely with the Field Programmes department and the Business Development team to ensure that budgets reflect the technical application, as well as the requirements outlined in the proposal guidelines. S/he will provide support to the Business Development team and will ensure adequate cost recovery under restricted funding proposals. The successful candidate will proactively lead the development of systems and processes in order to optimise their efficiency and to encourage a more timely style of cross-team working.

S/he will work to support Business Development Advisors and will work closely with Field Programmes colleagues in order to ensure that donor restrictions are complied with and are passed onto partner organisations and sub recipients. The Support Officer will take the lead on liaising with the Finance team to produce financial information for the Business Development team as required.

The successful candidate will bring excellent budgeting and communication skills, experience in fundraising or international work, and a commitment to be part of a hardworking team.
