Vue Entertainment is a leading UK and multi-territory cinema operator. We are currently looking to recruit a Business Analyst to join the finance team at our Head Office in Chiswick.

As a Business Analyst, you will provide business modelling and commercial analysis on performance data with conclusions and recommendations for opportunities for business improvement and growth.

Utilising your expert Excel skills, you will undertake complex modelling of P&L, balance sheets and cashflow forecasting. You will ensure the Group remains within agreed banking ratios by providing accurate data for the Bank Commitment Model.

You will also ensure business projections are amended and take into account the financial effects of new cinema openings, delivering accurate forecasting and budgeting.

Your other duties will include:

-Modelling and analysis of potential acquisitions and disposals
- Pre and post implementation analysis of Capital Investments
- Building "What If" models that inform business decision making
- Implementing and maintaining accurate and relevant business modelling tools
- Preparing specific KPI data and revenue items to enable the creation of the budget
- Identifying and analysing cinema specific or companywide trends delivering conclusions and recommendations to maximise profitability

To be considered for this role, you must have:

- A proven track record of using Excel modelling skills at an expert/advanced level
- Extensive knowledge and experience of P&L, balance sheets and cashflow forecasting
- Proven success analysing and interpreting complex business data within a commercial environment
- An ACCA, ACA or CIMA qualification with PQE
-Evidence of building good working relationships across all levels of staff, confidently challenging information when required

Additionally, as a Business Analyst, you must be able to work independently, pay close attention to detail and have experience of meeting tight deadlines. Tenacity, drive and a good sense of humour are also key.
