We are looking to appoint on behalf of a brand new multi-faith Primary School based in West London starting in September 2013. This is a fantastic unique opportunity for a Reception Teacher to aid in shaping a school from its foundation in a brand new 4-11 primary school.

You will be working with a pioneering group which is a flagship of the DfE Free Schools programme, and the first multi-academy free school trust in the UK.

Duties:-

- To assist the nursery team in providing a friendly, caring and relaxing environment in order to encourage and develop children in our care.

- To plan, organise and carry out planned activities, organising themes and projects.

- To settle in new children and provide on-going support, under a key worker system, liaising with parents and maintaining good communications.

- To maintain children's records and carry out assessments.

- To assist in maintaining a safe, clean and tidy base room.

Key Skills:-

- Hold a NQT Level 3 qualification in childcare / Diploma in Child Care and Education

- Good standard of GCSE's (Maths and English)

- Excellent numeracy and literacy skills

- Being efficient, expressive and creative

- The ability to build good relationships

- The ability to manage difficult behavior effectively

- Understanding of child behaviour and care

- Flexibility and creativity
