The EPACS (Electrical Power and Control Systems) team is leading significant development projects, supporting our overall ambition for efficient power management in Civil and Defence Aerospace, Marine and Energy applications.



Candidates will provide technical direction for the development and demonstration of novel power electronics technologies for a range of power and propulsion system applications.

They will lead the assessment of power electronics concepts and define associated demonstration activities whilst contributing to the company's electrical systems strategy and coordinate power electronics research activities at our electrical University Technology Centres. You will also be responsible for developing and managing our supply chain for power electronics.

This development offers exciting challenges and opportunities for those with relevant experience and qualifications. A relevant degree and recognised expertise in power electronics is required. They should be a Chartered Engineer (or working towards) and have an appreciation of the capabilities and limitations of power electronics' design and analysis tools.

The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills that will enable you to work well within the Electrical Systems team and to build strong relationships with our customers and supply chain.

Some domestic and international travel will be required.
