We have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Analyst who is solutions driven and has a strong background in forecasting, purchasing or finance to join a rapidly growing international company.
The successful candidate will play an integral role in determining the direction of which the company will take in its operations. You will be responsible for managing market trends and analysing costs of the companys extensive product list.
The role also involves providing accurate forecasts on profitability, market trends, depreciation and stability to allow management to make informed decisions about how best to conduct their business. The role is ideally suited for an individual who has a background of finance/technology that would relish working in a busy office environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse financial information to produce forecasts of business, industry, and economic conditions for use in making investment decisions.
- Interpret data affecting investment programs, such as price, depreciation, stability, future trends in investment risks, and economic influences.
- Provide analytical input into the budgeting process for the UK Sales budget, ensuring that investment is allocated optimally across channels and products.
- Managing the trends and influencing purchasing/ selling decisions in line with the companys products.
- Present analysis clearly and concisely to senior management which will allow them to easily identify the underlying drivers of performance and trends.
- Provide insight into business performance at product category and/or customer level.
- Work closely with the sales teams when providing client quotations to ensure that the market trends do not adversely affect future profitability.
Ideal Candidate
- Economic/ Finance related degree.
- Distinctive problem solving and analysis skills, combined with impeccable business judgment and ability to communicate with highly technical management team.
- Experience of managing/ analysing costs on multiple items.
- Solid analytical work experience in high data volume environments in media, technology or telecoms industries.
- International pricing knowledge will be a distinct advantage.
- Proven ability to deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
- Commercially aware with ambition to develop and progress within a growth business.
