This is an exciting role within a growing channel. As the Category Manager you will execute the category strategy within the Convenience Channel business unit teams andembed category strategy as part of the annual business planning process.
You will be given the responsibility to develop strategic shopper focussed partnerships within the Convenience Channel delivering category growth, and incremental sales.
Through insight, customise category value drivers and co-create bespoke shopper solutions across all shopper levers.

In order to be considered for this role, you will:
- have experience within a Category Manager position in an FMCG Manufacturer
- have a strong shopper, customer and category focus, and a passion for the Convenience / Impulse channel
- excellent knowledge of both continuous data and ad-hoc shopper research, and category insight experience with a highly developed knowledge of Kantar, IRI, Nielsen, and HIM
Our client is a global FMCG business based in Northampton. Due to expansion of the Customer Marketing team, an opportunity has arisen for a driven Category Manager to join the business.
